Welcome to Day 8 of the 31 day Challenge!!!!
So I wanted to try an actual Macaroni and cheese dish. I typed in macaroni and cheese into goggl and came across so many different recipes so I decided to blend taking a bit from each.
2 boxs of Kraft macaroni
1/4 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup of Mexican blend cheese
2 powder packets of cheese (from Kraft macaroni box)
3/4 cup of evaporated milk
1 bar of Cabot Cheese sharp cheddar
1 teaspoon of Ms. Dash Italian Medley seasioning
1 teaspoon of Ms. Dash Onion Herb seasoning
2 tablespoon of margarine (or olive oil)
1 teaspoon Gulden’s mustard
1 pinch salt
drizzle olive oil
Preheat oven 375 degrees
Boil macaroni according to the instruction on the box add salt and dirzzle oil to the water. While macaroni is cooking grate cabot cheese and whisk eggs. When macaroni is cooked to the tenderness that you want drain maraconi and place on the side. When you finish putting macaroni on the side in the same warm pot add margarine, milk, heavy cream and stir. Then add mexican cheese, 2 pouches of powder cheese, mustard and stir. Add all seasiongs 1/4 cup of cabbot cheese and stir. Mix in macaroni and then add egg. Mix everything well. Spray the pyrex dish with pam and slowly pour mixture into the dish. Add the rest of the cabbot cheese on top. Cover the dish with foil bake for 45minutes for the last 5 minutes remove foil. If the top is not as brown as you would like chage setting to broil and broil for 2-3 minutes. ***Optional, If you want to add an extra flavor you can add rasins to your mixture before baking :)!!!!
